The Institutional Sales Support Specialist will support the Institutional Advisors, Consultants and Philanthropic sales teams in various areas of sales support. Duties include preparing and packaging complex pro formas and formal RFP's for client presentations; managing all sales reporting tracking and generation; initiating outbound calls to set and confirm client and prospect appointments and follow up with appropriate documentation. The sales support specialist will be responsible for ordering all sales proposals from vendors, the creation, completion and filing of all sales documentation and will manage all prospecting tools and proactively create prospect lists. This role will support the service model of clients by interacting directly with clients and prospects which will include attending in person meetings with the appropriate sales partner as needed. The sales support specialist will also connect with vendor partners and set meetings for product review and will serve as a consultant for complex Institutional Sales questions.
In support of Institutional Advisors, Consultants and Philanthropic sales teams, prepare and package complex pro formas and formal RFPs for client presentations. Initiate outbound calls to set and confirm client and prospect appointments and follow-up appropriately. This role will also attend in person client and prospect meetings with the appropriate sales partner.
Manage all sales reporting tracking and generation. Create, complete and file all sales documentation and manage all prospecting tools and proactively create prospect lists.
Interact with vendors to order sales proposals and follow up appropriately. Connect with vendor partners regularly to set meetings for product reviews.
Serve as an internal consultant for complex Institutional Sales / process questions and liaise and partner with other internal support teams including the Client Service Specialists for IAS.
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years trust, institutional sales or financial services experience
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years trust, institutional sales or financial services experience.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
Attention to detail.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Extremely organized and efficient with the capability to perform a large amount of work within tight deadlines.
