We have an exciting career opportunity for a Human Resources Manager  in Cleveland, OH.

 

The campus for this client partner site includes a 1000 bed main hospital, Children's Hospital, 5 independent café locations and various small retail outlets. This contract has $24M in MV, approximately $15M in Retail Revenue and 350-400 non-union Sodexo hourly employees and 18 Sodexo managers. The Children's Hospital has approximately 20 unionized client hourly employees and 2 managers. This position will be critical in driving system standards and efficiencies throughout the main campus both in retail and patient dining programs.

 

Our Human Resources  Manager will lead the Human Resources function and serve as the onsite HR business partner to our operations team at the Cleveland Clinic Health System. This position will have senior level Human Resources responsibility for the Sodexo Food and Nutrition Program on this campus.

The best qualified candidate will have demonstrated very strong Human Resources technical skills in all generalist functions. This position will have strong leadership skills, project management skills, employee relations, talent development, workforce planning, training, and recruitment all at a frontline (non-exempt) level. Strong internal and external customer/client relations and interpersonal skills are essential. Previous levels of Human Resources experience are required. Experience in Hospitals is a plus.

Responsible for implementing, coordinating and/or administration of HR programs, policies and procedures. Participates in HR initiatives and special projects. This position interacts frequently with Senior Management and must exercise discretion and independent judgment in formulating and applying human resources and other management policies to non-routine and complex business challenges.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years of HR experience
