Responsibilities

This position for Verizon Telematics, Cloud Marketing Automation Manager, should have proven experience in managing Enterprises wide CRM solutions including specific expertise in Cloud solutions to guide Sales & Marketing Campaigns, Marketing Segmentation and Analytical roadmap.  Cloud Manager must possess extensive proven experience in all aspects of a CRM (Cloud) application with respect to trouble-shooting, remediating issues, and testing. Ability to lead technical discussions to architect, design and implement campaign automation including Segmentation towards a complete Cloud CRM solution is expected

Cloud Marketing Automation Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage Cloud marketing platform by proactively gathering marketing requirements, identifying and remediating issues to ensure timely and flawless marketing campaign execution
  • Proactively lead campaign development lifecycle including data management, data processing and campaign automation
  • Guide Direct Response Marketing Team in defining segmentation needs and help build universe and relevant segments for marketing campaigns
  • Set priorities and provide direction on how to test the segments, segment tree and re-tweak the segment criteria to generate the right count and data set
  • As Cloud SME, spearhead  all facets of  Cloud driven Marketing Campaigns and architect future delivery of additional marketing integration with other Cloud suites to include eCommunications using the latest versions of Cloud, OBIEE & Oracle Databases 
  • Develop Cloud best practices and train/educate Direct Response and Campaign Marketing Managers on leveraging Cloud in an optimum way
  • Support deliverability of high volume email platforms  
  • Project Management duties include project planning, work estimates and coordination with engagement and/or other project managers with respect to any Cloud marketing initiatives
  • Lead discussions and work closely with IT partners in identifying and remediating Cloud issues including issues related to data, data sources, or any application issue that is needed for campaign management, segmentation or analytical purposes. Work with concerned teams in coming up with realistic and scalable strategy to implement those changes
  • Work collaboratively with sales & marketing managers to gather and understand segmentation requirements for campaigns and deliver segments/lists in timely fashion to facilitate all marketing campaigns
  • Test marketing campaigns within Cloud and Litmus. Debug and resolve any quick fixes. In the event of a bigger issue needing IT involvement, document issues and transition findings to IT team for further action
  • Create/maintain project plan for all the sales & marketing CRM initiatives and oversee the project to its completion within the timeframe. Create end user manuals, UAT documents as needed   

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
  • 7-9 years of cloud-BI interpretation experience
  • 4+ years of marketing cloud experience
  • 3+ years of marketing automation experience; preferred tools – Responsys, Eloqua
  • Experience working with Data Models and refining implementation methodology to create Marketing segmentation and Analytical reporting models
  • Advanced SQL & PL/SQL skills to extract data, analyze and build custom ad hoc reports
  • Expertise in creating KPIs and advanced sales and marketing metrics and dashboards
  • Exceptional analytical skills required to decipher and resolve any data anomalies related to marketing campaigns and segments
  • Ability to multitask, manage people with differing needs and prioritize to accommodate multiple requests in a timely manner
