The VP, Midwest Sales (digital and print revenue) is a transformational role that will serve as a critical leader for growth of the USA TODAY NETWORK, within the Midwest region. This person will be responsible for developing innovative and impactful integrated sales strategies that will drive revenue across all of Gannett's core media assets including USA TODAY, as well as Gannett-owned local news properties within its Domestic Publishing division. The successful candidate will leverage his/her contact base within the advertising market-place among both digital/print clients and agencies. You will lead sales efforts and directly contribute to the revenue development and the overall growth of the business. This position reports to the SVP, National Sales.
This position will provide tactical and strategic advertising sales leadership, driving revenue growth through direct sales and sales leadership. Core responsibilities will include:
Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience
