The Sr. Director of Marketing, Portfolio is responsible for driving, developing and implementing the marketing strategy in alignment with sales operations for our overall Medicare product portfolio. The Marketing Director will address overall marketing approach, systems integration, call center capacity, process and training to bring scale to portfolio marketing.

The Marketing Director will enhance the Medicare portfolio efforts, working closely with marketing and sales operations to drive growth and operational efficiencies through consumer-driven marketing and operations, and will lead cross-functional resources to ensure portfolio initiatives, from planning, research, marketing, operations, digital and analytics are prioritized and completed.
The Marketing Director will bring a passion for how health care is changing and have significant direct-to-consumer and product marketing experience in a highly-regulated industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develops and executes strategies for a function or discipline that span a large business unit or multiple markets / sites
Directs others to resolve business problems that affect multiple functions or disciplines
Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact multiple functions and / or customer accounts (internal or external)
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the needs of the Medicare consumer and influencers
Develop a foundational, but progressive view of the Medicare product portfolio and shifting market dynamics impacting competitors and consumers
Drive portfolio expansion and scalability through identifying opportunities to drive successful offerings through enhanced direct-to-consumer channel strategies
Provide marketing strategy, direction and process optimization within a matrixed organization
Serve as a trusted partner and influencing the development and deployment of portfolio initiatives
Act as an escalation point and advocate for the consumer during portfolio discussions, based on insights
Manage cross-functional relationships with FP / IS, acquisition / NTM, consumer insights, analytics, product, and sales ops teams to ensure coordinated efforts to maximize results
Produce effective best-in-class awareness, education, acquisition and retention strategies to drive LTV
Communicate clearly and regularly to stakeholders to drive alignment and execution success
Leverage workflow optimization that will improve efficiencies and processes
Maintain awareness of marketplace 'best practice' and industry trends
Ensure projects are within budget, scope and timelines

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree
8+ years of experience in managing direct-to-consumer marketing with multichannel sales ( Agents, Telesales, Online Enrollment, etc.)
People management experience
Extensive experience planning and implementing strategic initiatives across matrixed organizations
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate and inspire at all levels
Works well under pressure, thrives in a multi-faceted work environment
Demonstrated strategic skills and the ability to implement strategy across broad organizations
Proven track record of displaying ownership, urgency and sound decision making skills
Experience manage budgets and timelines
Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or other advanced degree in marketing, new business development, operations, product, digital
Product or Portfolio Marketing
Healthcare marketing or highly regulated industry experience an asset
Marketing Operations experience
