This commercial intern opportunity is for high school students looking to gain experience with a fortune 500 company in the industrial automation space. A selection of projects across multiple disciplines will be made available to you to help understand how our business works and be able to experience multiple points of commercial contact for our customers. This may include projects in sales, marketing, sales operations, pricing and negotiations etc.
The ideal high school intern candidate should be college bound (or accepted/enrolled at an accredited university) with a strong academic record, have participated in FIRST Robotics or another STEM-based program, proven teamwork skills and communication aptitude. Candidates must be permanently eligible to work in the U.S. and able to provide own transportation to work. Active participation in a student organization such as Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), or National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) a plus. Preferred majors (or intended fields of study, if not currently college-enrolled) are Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical) and Computer Science.
