We are currently seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Product Marketing Managerto work within one of CEB's practice areas.  This individual will drive product marketing for the Sales & Marketing practice group, which includes building marketing plans to support overall business objectives as well as developing product messaging and positioning .   The individual in this role will be responsible for:

 

  • Partnering with Product Marketing Lead to support CEB's revenue growth in the Sales & Marketing practice to drive integrated marketing strategy and planning.
  • Working alongside product teams to develop a deep understanding of storylines and supporting product offerings to then successfully develop, position, package, and communicate the membership value proposition to key member and prospect segments. 
  • Interacting directly with business unit leaders, developing/presenting marketing plans and influencing their thinking on and approach to marketing projects/campaigns.  Serve as marketing "expert" (along with Marketing Lead) for the Sales & Marketing practice.
  • Deploying associated product marketing budget to maximize return on investment and return on objectives for the business.
  • Developing product messaging & positioning, competitive differentiation, , compelling storylines and campaign strategy for taking products to market (both existing and new product launches) through collateral, training materials, pitch decks, and other sales playbooks/tools.
  • Partnering with channel marketing leads to cascade and activate the commercial organization against key product initiatives and campaigns.
  • Improving commercial teams' ability to authentically engage with segments through easy-to-absorb scripting and training materials and sessions in addition to maintaining central repository for scripting and sales support tools.
  • Working with the Marketing Centers of Excellence (Brand, Sales Enablement, PR and Digital Marketing Teams) to leverage corporate wide marketing capabilities and skills and ensure compliance to corporate marketing standards.

Qualifications

A successful candidate will possess:

 

  • BS/BA required and MBA degree desired, preferably from top tier institutions
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant marketing experience in a B2B environment ideally with experience in a services or solutions oriented businesses or technology.
  • Relevant domain expertise in Sales & Marketing desired as well as ability to build a deep understanding of CEB's product offerings and programs.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to assess market landscape and create integrated marketing plans, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent program/project management and execution skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of financial concepts including P&L, balances sheets, and ROI models.
  • Ability to coordinate efforts cross-functionally to achieve positive end results.
  • Ability to adapt and respond appropriately to change.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team.
  • A content and strategy orientation to marketing.
  • An entrepreneurial orientation with ability to apply creative approaches to marketing innovative products.
  • Strong analytical and communications skills to build compelling business cases in order to win internal support for the marketing programs.
  • The successful candidate will be a self-starter; this individual must be adaptable, persuasive, tenacious and perceptive and be able to execute a well-developed plan.
