Position Summary

The Corporate Human Resources Director is responsible for the leadership of all Human Resources (HR) functions across REACH Medical Holdings (RMH) .  The HR Director participates with the executive leadership team on RMH strategy and business initiatives, is a thought-leader, influencer and not afraid to change the status quo. This role ensures a consistent service is applied across all business operations and empowers the department to be proactive and work effectively. The HR Director is the key connection point to AMGH Holdings or RMH and collaborates across AMGH shared administrative services while serving to the strategic objectives of RMH.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Previous experience leading a team in a fast paced environment. There are currently approximately 1000 employees working for REACH Medical Holdings and these employees are distributed throughout 7 different states. Candidates with previous experience in the Aeronautical and/or Health Care industry is preferred.
  • Proven agility and resilience through organizational change. Able to work with senior leadership to drive organizational change.
  • Ability to proactively analyze operational and HR metrics and analytics, and provides information, analysis, and insight to influence decision making.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to connect with people at all levels, diverse backgrounds, and experiences. Ability to build trust across all levels of the organization and able to influence without authority.
  • Great sense of humor, manages well under stress, and not afraid of working in an organization which in constantly changing and evolving.

Duties and Responsibilities

CULTURE

  • Support and lead in a high growth and complex environment with multiple conflicting priorities and directives which may change direction in real time. Provide consultation, coaching, and solutions to executive and functional leaders on various Human Resources related issues including: employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, talent assessment, safety organizational design, compensation and benefits matters, and employee engagement.

  TALENT MANAGEMENT

  • Responsible for all talent-related processes and programs, to include talent assessment, performance management and succession planning.
  • Ensure performance management best practices are in place across the four divisions including training, support and communication strategies.
  • Direct, plan, manage and ensure the successful implementation of the RMH employment engagement programs and monitor its effectiveness. 

HUMAN RESOURCES ANALYTICS

  • Ability to produce and present weekly HR BSC in alignment with company strategy
  • Manage and maintain the HR department dashboard, to include metrics regarding employee engagement, retention, and employer satisfaction.

RISK MANAGEMENT

  • Maintain expert knowledge of federal and multi-state employment law and complies with governmental regulations and ensures HR compliance is in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Manage risk through HR practices and policy development and administration.
  • Work in partnership with Safety and Clinical to maintain compliant employee health records.
  • Partner with Safety on employee injury review analysis and injury prevention programs assessment review, implementation and management.

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT

  • Build the Learning and Development strategy relevant to the needs of the various business units; assist with implementing the corporate roadmap.
  • Own the leadership/management development programs consistent with business and leaders needs; monitor progress and business impact.

EMPLOYER BRANDING

  • Partner with the Leadership team to develop human resources strategies for improving the employer image both internally and externally.
  • Responsible for the annual employee engagement survey process including communication and action planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field, advanced degree and/or HR certification (i.e., PHR, SPHR, GPHR) a plus.
  • 10 years' experience in a Human Resources Leadership role.
  • Previous experience handling Mergers and Acquisitions highly desired.
  • Previous experience maintaining Affirmative Action compliance highly desired
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with executive and senior management on value-added strategic business initiatives.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • This job requires 20% travel.
  • Capable of dealing with ambiguity and leading change.
  • Deep knowledge of California Employment Law.
