GENERAL FUNCTION

The Quality Assurance Tech assists the Supervisor in managing labor, identifying RFID and inventory issues/variances, manages the RFID report and reports finding/resolution to management daily. Works closely with management to support and guide the work flow, processes, and train/cross-train new and tenured associates in all functions required. Acts as the SME aid in continuous improvement and ensures all standards (safety, quality, and productivity) are being met and/or exceeded.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitors, reviews and researches all RFID issues.
  • Resolves RFID variances (no reads, no checks, unexpected etc.).
  • Audits – Both regular and RFID deliveries.
  • Identifies and resolves packaging issues – understands the root cause and steps to correction.
  • Communicates internally and externally, via email with support, customer service, vendors, etc.
  • Performs visual audits of associates following SOP’s for accuracy and consistency.
  • Supports management team with vendor compliance.
  • Assists Supervisor with routings and booking carrier pick ups.
  • Serves as a point of contact for damaged, missing or incorrect tags.
  • Helps identify the Root Cause of discrepancy (overages/ shortages/chargebacks).
  • Identifies incorrect labels, label placement and incorrect shipping bin errors.
  • Completes projects and tasks as assigned by Leadership Team.
  • Monitors the quality of outbound product/deliveries from the Distribution Centers to consumers.
  • Maintains clean and safe work environment.
  • Assists Supervisors and/or lead associates when necessary.
  • Assists with training current and new Distribution Center associates on process changes, system updates etc.
  • Participates and leads/conduct departmental meetings.
  • Makes recommendations for improving processes and procedures.
  • Serves as a positive role model for other associates and displays enthusiastic behavior.
  • Maintains proficiency in all functions within direct area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for any additional duties assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent mathematical aptitude/numerical recognition
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with associates and leadership
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by Supervisors/Manager
  • Ability to use material handling equipment (pallet jacks, carts, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a standing/walking position for up to 10 hours
