Your body language says a lot to recruiters.
Having a firm handshake, smiling, making eye contact, and reducing fidgeting portrays confidence and interest. Avoid crossing your arms or putting your hands on your hips. If you don’t know what to do with your arms, carry a notebook or portfolio with your resume. Not only will it give you something to do with your hands and arms, it will make you appear more prepared and gives you a way to take notes.
