Director of Wound Care Job Summary: The Director of Wound Care collaborates with the CCO in developing evidence-based standards of practice. Supports employee and patient education to enhance knowledge and skills. Implements policies and procedures, along with evidence based standards of care and practice. Provides consultative service to clinical team, patients and their families. RN Director, Wound Care Director, Ostomy Nurse, WOCN, Wound Nurse, Wound Care RN, Wound Manager, Hyperbaric, Wound Vac Qualifications
Education: BSN required. Licenses/Certification: Current State Licensed as a Registered Nurse, BLS certification. Wound and ostomy care certification required from ANCC accredited program Experience: Five (5) years nursing experience in an acute care setting with at least two (2) years in a leadership role.
