General Summary / Purpose The Medical Office Coordinator (MOC), or Care Transitions Coordinator (CTC) on CIMS, will be responsible for providing administrative support to providers on the Medicine service at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. This role will interact with patients, patients' families, referring physicians and third-party carriers with regard to patient-related issues. The Coordinator will work with providers to carry out the administrative tasks necessary to ensure smooth operation with care coordination and maintain good patient relations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. Salary Range: Minimum 16.86 per hour - Maximum 27.84 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
