New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is seeking a HVAC Tech for a 3 month Contract position with the potential for a contract extension or conversion. Compensation: $34.50 per hour Job Responsibilities: Equipment Management Maintaining and repairing air handling units, exhaust fans, fume hoods, fan coil units, reheat coils, and other associated mechanical equipment. Troubleshooting customer service calls for temperature comfort inside our buildings. Maintaining accuracy of system documentation and limited support of new installation projects may be required. Complete Hazard Assessments as necessary Customer Service Troubleshooting customer service calls for temperature comfort inside our buildings. Required Qualifications: Vocation degree program with technical courses related to the field, preferred Minimum 3 years field experience with trade school training - or 6 years total field experience. HVAC license EPA certification Driver license Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Good general computer skills with knowledge in E-mail, Internet. Ability to effectively use computers and computer programs (including use of Microsoft Office Suite) Work will be campus-based. Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to bend, sit, kneel, squat, stand, reach, climb ladders and Client as required to access equipment components for extended periods of time. Ability to work exposed to heat, sunlight, rain, cold, daylight, and nighttime hours as required Only candidates available and ready to work directly as New Journey/Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
