THE JOB: It is the responsibility of the Table Games Dealer to perform the act of dealing table games while providing excellent guest service. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures. STARTING RATE:$12/hour with direct tips THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Game Dealing: Proficiently deal one or more game types, including Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, Craps, Specialty Games (Poker), and their variations. Transaction Management: Protect, control, and verify the accuracy of fills, credits, openers/closers, and marker transactions. Accurately exchange cash or markers for chips, collect losing bets, pay winning bets, and collect commissions based on the game dealt. Communication with Supervisors: Communicate verbally with supervisors or Table Games Managers regarding unnatural or irregular play and disputes during the game. Mistake Resolution: Notify the supervisor immediately of any mistakes or claims, and resolve them only under the supervisor's direction. Player Instructions: Clearly verbalize player instructions, card totals, results, or any other required information according to the procedures of each game. Customer Service: Maintain a helpful and courteous atmosphere at the game table, promoting and maintaining the highest level of service to all guests. Guest Complaint Resolution: Respond effectively to guest inquiries and resolve complaints within the scope of authority or refer the matter to management if necessary. Incident Reporting: Notify the supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft. Additional Duties: Perform additional job duties as requested.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Work Schedule: Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays. Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent educational experience. Experience: 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Dealing multiple table games experience working in a similar resort setting. Game Expertise: Skilled in a variety of table games, with a strong focus on single zero roulette, baccarat, and craps. Customer Engagement: Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage with guests professionally and courteously Communication: Strong communication skills, capable of clearly conveying game rules and instructions to players. Conflict Resolution: Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively. Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a proven track record of maintaining accuracy in financial transactions and game management.
