The EPMO Specialist works in the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). The EPMO office has projects that span across Carilion Clinic.
- Creates project management documents, including status reports, project plans, and other materials for EPMO projects that have impact across Carilion Clinic.
- Facilitates and leads project meetings in partnership with EPMO project managers. Communicates progress to all stakeholders. Uses discretion and judgment in unstructured situations. Escalates issues to the project manager and other key project stakeholders as it impacts the project.
- Establishes standard project management processes and templates on the EPMO's MS Teams page.
- Using business judgment, captures and creates workflows on projects and distributes workflows to project stakeholders for validation and approval.
- Provides leadership with information on competitors, vendors, business concepts, industry best practices, project management best practices.
- Manages multiple projects independently. Can have impact on system.
- Compiles and reviews data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Leads selected project requirements gathering processes with project stakeholders and project managers.
- Maintains the EPMO's MS Teams page and creates automated workflows for this page using MS Power Automate.
- Develops, maintains, and nurtures working relationships with leaders, project stakeholders, project managers, and external partners. Generates alliances that promote effective relationships and outcomes.
What We Require:
Education: College graduate with Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related analytical field.
Experience: No experience needed; project management/ business experience preferred.???????
Other Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, Visio, experience with workflow development, MS Teams, MS Power Automate, and MS PowerPoint.
