YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting HR Communication & Projects Specialist opportunity in our Guymon office. In this highly impactful role, you will be a key member of the HR team. The HR Communication & Projects Specialist is responsible for the effective and consistent coordination and implementation of HR processes, functions, and procedures while monitoring HR projects and workflow. In collaboration with the Director, Plant Human Resources, the HR Projects Specialist will identify, design, and implement special projects for the Plant HR function to increase efficiencies, improve partnerships with business partners, increase employee engagement, and improve relations with the Union.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Assess HR operational policies and procedures in order to ensure efficiency and seamless delivery of services across the organization.
  • Working with stakeholders, develop communication content and materials for various initiatives
  • Identify optimal solutions to meet the needs of HR functions by recommending process improvements, system enhancements and alternatives based on specific needs.
  • Execute ad hoc requests and assist with special projects and other initiatives based on business needs and strategic priorities.
  • Partner with HR leadership and Talent Management team to support and drive initiatives related to the new hire experience, learning and development, and DE&I.
  • Collaborate with Seaboard Foods community enrichment specialist to ensure plant representation is involved.
  • Represent the Seaboard Foods Guymon Plant when needed.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on various topics.
  • Conduct audits of various HR processes to ensure compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:



  • High School or GED and a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • Analytically minded and willing to learn new computer systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including presentations.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Intermediate in Microsoft Office; Word and Excel.



Preferred:



  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, communications or human resources field of study.
  • Experience in entry level layout and design
  • Experience with an HRIS system
  • Experience in union contract management and employee-labor negotiations
  • Bilingual Skills, Spanish and English preferred.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
  • The noise level in the work environment depends on which environment you are in, which may require the employee to use hearing protection.
  • After-hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.
