Overview ABOUT THE POSITION GIS Analyst - Transportation | Hybrid | Any VHB Office VHB's Technology Enablement team is looking for a proficient GIS Analyst, ideally with experience using Esri's Roads & Highways extension to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to manage, analyze, and visualize geospatial data pertinent to Transportation related projects and have minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Python. You will play a critical role in facilitating data-driven decisions and achieving project success in transportation initiatives. Position may sit in any of our VHB offices (our list of office locations can be found here). We have a hybrid environment with a mixture of in office and remote days. Applicants must be legally authorized to work for VHB in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. Responsibilities
Data Collection and Management: Performs moderately complex analysis of spatial data using GIS technology (e.g., buffering, spatial overlays, distance calculations). Acquire, process, and manage spatial datasets using Esri's Roads & Highways tools.
