Job Description:

Saab is hiring a Workday HRIS professional to join our growing HR organization. Based in our East Syracuse, NY headquarters location, this new position will focus on the ongoing maintenance and optimization of our HR information systems (Workday). Key responsibilities will include reporting, data management, system audits, and supporting onboarding workflows. The ideal candidate will work closely with HR and other teams to ensure our systems are efficient, accurate, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Onboarding Support: Provide support for onboarding processes, ensuring new hire data is accurately captured and workflows are functioning smoothly.

  • Reporting and Analytics: Design, maintain, and deliver recurring and ad-hoc reports.

  • System Maintenance: Oversee and maintain the Workday HRIS to support HR functions, including configuring system settings and ensuring data integrity.

  • Data Integrity: Conduct regular audits and validations to ensure data accuracy within the HRIS, adhering to company standards and compliance requirements.

  • User Support and Training: Act as a resource for HRIS inquiries, delivering training and guidance to HR team members and other end-users on reporting tools, system navigation, and data access.

  • System Updates and Enhancements: Participate in testing and implementation of Workday updates and new features, focusing on improvements to reporting capabilities and automation of workflows.

Compensation Range: $61,600-$75,500

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

  • 2-4 years of experience in HRIS administration, Workday experience strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency HRIS reporting tools, including report creation and data extraction.

  • Excellent understanding of HR data processes, particularly in onboarding workflows.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and maintain data security.

  • Effective communication skills to support collaboration and provide training to end-users.

Citizenship Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
