Under the general direction of the Manager of Capacity Management, the Decedent Affairs (DA) Coordinator's duties include but are not limited to administrative tasks related to deceased individuals. Responsibilities may include liaising with funeral homes and government agencies; providing resources and assistance to grieving families; reviewing and verifying informed consent with legal next of kin; coordinating legal consent between next of kin and physicians; utilizing EMR systems; and utilizing EDRS and EBRS for documentation of death certificates. In addition to the duties of decedent affairs, the DA Coordinator assists with the Nurse Staffing Office and Transfer Center as required. Performs other related duties as assigned by Capacity Management leadership. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $54,664 - $67,944 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $26.18 - $32.54 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
