The Sales Associate 1 provides services for patients, families, visitors, and hospital staff. The Sales Associate greets every customer, determines each individual?s specific needs and fulfills those needs in a friendly, efficient manner.

Schedule: Contingent; must have availability to work evenings

Location: Central Campus

Responsibilities

    Responsible for cash handling procedures and operates cash register accurately and efficiently.
  • Resolves problems that arise with customers, physical plant or equipment and seeks an appropriate resolution.
  • Maintains a clean, safe environment for staff and visitors.
  • Answers phone calls, resolves questions, gives directions, and offers appropriate suggestions.
  • Makes priority setting decisions, performs stock replenishment, maintains storage and merchandise presentation.


Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills:

  • Effective customer services and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent mathematical abilities and problem-solving skills. Strong physical stamina and ability to work independently.

Experience:

  • Experience operating a cash register or computer is desired. Previous retail sales experience a plus.
