Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Responsible for planning and driving the delivery of technology project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating sync points across teams, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and managing project risk and compliance to standards Key deliverables include project status updates, executive summary, project governance artifacts and project financials, etc. Ensure delivery meets the project's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost Expected to be a hands-on project manager supporting multiple workstreams across the Regulatory Reporting program Take on numerous diverse responsibilities and will necessitate close partnership with senior business and technology managers Manage complex regulatory-driven technology projects across multiple technology, operations, and business units Responsible for managing multiple projects across multiple related technology teams Expected to be structured and disciplined in their project management approach, including adhering to all organizational requirements related to governance, project tracking, SDLC process, risk management, etc. Lead and coordinate routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.) Manage coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams Facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline Provide status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule Work with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements Support resource planning for delivery and execution Ensure adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards Requirements: Seasoned in project management and a self-starter, capable of working independently and coordinate efforts across multiple technology teams and across multiple projects 10+ years' of Technology Project Management experience Technology project delivery knowledge across banking space Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle Strong knowledge of agile delivery Strong knowledge of change management [tollgate, risk, issue, change controls Analytic thinker Strong executive communication skills Demonstrates initiative and ownership Ability to negotiate with multiple parties and find acceptable compromise Ability to manage in a time-constrained environment Ability to structure a project, its tasks and its challenges in order to clearly understand the tasks and accountability of the project, the status of the project, the risks/ issues/ dependencies of the project Experience with technology to deliver a significant "enterprise-scale" project in the past and saw it through to delivery Ability to challenge the conclusions, and provide alternatives Desired skills: Regulatory reporting and/or data technology projects knowledge Collaboration skills Project Management experience Result Orientation Solution Delivery Process Agile Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
