Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Core member of the Global Capital Markets Technology team that is responsible for the development and support of Global Capital Markets technology applications Lead and delivery/development of one or more initiatives Primary architect and hands on technology leader Define and evaluate problems and designs effective solutions development and support of various applications in the group and Design, architecting and development of solutions Developing clean and progressively enhanced code for complex enterprise applications Requirements: 10+ years of total experience with at least 7+ years of hands-on core Java experience 5+ years of backend database development - Oracle preferred 2+ years of complete user interface development experience using Angular 5+ Unix/Linux scripting 5+ years of Angular 3+ years of Tableau Strong communication skills, and ability to interact with senior business partners as well as senior technology management Strong analytical skills along with deep technical expertise and have ability to dive into technical details including design and development and troubleshooting of complex issues Middle tier development - Webservices, Apache or Weblogic HTML/DHTML, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript, TypeScript Financial sector experience Agile Agile tools (Bitbucket) Agile tools (Jira) Splunk Desired skills: High integrity, energy and optimism who is self-directed and motivated Front end development with Angular, Javascript, JSP, HTML/DHTML, Ajax Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; a person who is articulate and a good presenter of ideas Good listener; a person who seeks input and involves others in his/her communications; a person who values and cultivates relationships Able to get things done and make things happen; a person who is resourceful, seizes opportunities and is an innovator Entrepreneurial individual who is not afraid to challenge; a person who is creative and can think "outside the box" Professional who wants to contribute to the organization and is results oriented Pay Range: $63.68 - $71.68 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
