The Senior Software Engineer II role focuses on improving technology to enhance customer experiences. In this position, you will manage the design, development, and delivery of new technology. Your tasks will involve writing high-quality code and overseeing the entire process, from planning and execution to deployment and ongoing support. THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Develop and execute robust, production-grade code by following a comprehensive process that includes vision formulation, detailed definition of requirements, thorough planning, effective execution, strategic deployment, and ongoing maintainability. Collaborate closely with Product Management to design and implement exceptional customer experiences that meet and exceed user needs. Partner with technology leadership to identify, evaluate, and integrate innovative technologies and methodologies that can significantly enhance our platform's performance and provide a superior customer experience. Ensure high standards of consistency, reliability, supportability, and observability across all our services to maintain seamless operations and customer satisfaction. Communicate clearly and effectively to unite team members, fostering an environment where they can collectively tackle and overcome challenges. Conduct in-depth analyses of product trade-offs to deliver user-friendly and intuitive products that function effortlessly and meet customer expectations. Cultivate and nurture relationships with a diverse array of teams throughout the organization, ensuring trust and buy-in at all levels to facilitate collaboration.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field 8+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience delivering commercial cloud and backend software products (Java, Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS) and services at enterprise to internet scale or experience in a related area. Familiarity with software engineering best practices and the software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing.
