Shipping Coordinator, Reno, NV Starting pay: Salary Non-Exempt $50,000 - $58,000 based on experience Shift: 5:45am - 4:15pm Monday - Thursday As a Shipping Coordinator at PPG, you will be responsible for daily management of the Shipping/Receiving operations at the Distribution Center. You will perform ongoing actions necessary to ensure reliable and efficient operations of the department at the Distribution Center while using the SAP system. You will work an onsite schedule and report to the DC Manager at the Reno, DC facility. Primary Responsibilities Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment. Trained in BOLs and other shipping matters related to trucks in and out of the plant. Works with DC to make sure shipments are done correctly. Receives, unpacks, inspects and stores incoming materials and supplies. Uses shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation. Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.
