Genesis10 is currently seeking a Cisco Network Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 18+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, UCD (UrbanCode Deploy), and Harness Leverage cloud platforms such as PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) and Azure to deploy, monitor, and optimize applications in the cloud, ensuring scalability, availability, and security Automate manual processes wherever possible and implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution Work in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment to ensure close collaboration between development, QA, and operations teams Maintain clear and concise documentation for the CI/CD process, cloud environment configuration, and DevOps procedures to ensure operational continuity and knowledge sharing across teams Requirements: 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, consulting, military experience, or education. Cisco certifications (such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar) and hands-on experience with Cisco technologies are required Strong ability to multitask, managing multiple projects and network challenges simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Proven experience in analyzing complex network issues and providing effective resolutions Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients Desired Requirements: Cloud Certification: Certification in Azure or PCF Infrastructure as Code: Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or Chef is beneficial Familiarity with monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack Higher-level Cisco certifications (CCIE or similar) Familiarity with cloud network infrastructure and cloud-based network engineering practices is beneficial Experience with Fortinet security solutions, firewalls, and network security protocols Pay Range: $60-$70 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
