The mission of the MRI department at Johns Hopkins is to explore and investigate all aspects of magnetic resonance (MRI) research in medicine. The center serves as a research resource for members of the Department of Radiology and the community. It invites and encourages research innovation, as well as collaboration at the local, nation and international level, and works to provide state-of-the-art technology to researchers and clinicians.

Johns Hopkins is currently searching for a full time Radiology Assistant to join our team. As a Radiology Assistant you will provide clinical, technical and customer service assistance to radiology patients, staff and customers. Duties may include both clinical and clerical functions including:




  • Patient preparation which may include IV insertion.
  • Point of care testing.
  • Tracking in EPIC;
  • Scanning document

Minimum Qualifications:




  • High school diploma or GED
  • Work experience equivalent to 2 years in healthcare or customer service preferred
  • CPR certification required within three (3) months of employment



Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

Evening

3:00pm - 11:30pm

Salary Range: Minimum 16.16 per hour - Maximum 26.69 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
