You Belong Here. Patient Technician Night Shift - 36 hours The Johns Hopkins Hospital Medical Acute Care Unit (Halsted 3/Osler 3). This unit features 22 individual rooms across 2 hallways designed to care for adult patients requiring acute medical intervention. H3O3 cares for patients with various respiratory diseases such as pulmonary hypertension, cystic fibrosis, and lung transplant patients. They also see patients with varying medical conditions like GI disorders, cardiac disease, and endocrine disorders. Patient Care Technicians at The Johns Hopkins Hospital provide highly skilled and compassionate patient and family-centered care as a contributing member of the health care team. Ongoing education is provided to all Patient Care Technicians to ensure that all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. During your first year, you will have the opportunity to attend eight days of training off the unit, which provide interactive learning activities to support your personal and professional development. Salary Range: Minimum 17.37 per hour - Maximum 26.13 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
