Carnegie Mellon University: Mellon College of Science: Biological Sciences Location Pittsburgh, PA Open Date Nov 22, 2024 Deadline Nov 29, 2024 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Description The Lee lab at Carnegie Mellon University is seeking a motivated postdoctoral scientist to join our research team studying the mechanism and regulation of the human Atlastin GTPases in endoplasmic reticulum structure maintenance. Ongoing projects focus on using in vitro and cell-based assays to determine the mechanisms that regulate Atlastin activity in cells. Qualifications Qualifications: A PhD or equivalent in biological sciences or a related relevant field is required. Applicants are expected to have molecular biology expertise, some background in expressing and purifying proteins, experience with tissue culture, and an ability to carry out quantitative analysis of data.
