The EDGE development program is a full-time, direct-position placement program for college graduates and early career professionals. The EDGE program is designed to help you build the skills that you need to be successful in your role. ABOUT THE ROLE
The Applications Support will assist with the responsible for working side-by-side with the line of business teams to serve as the bridge between technology and the business. This will include interacting with individuals across all business lines to discover and document business requirements and evaluate the need for technology and process improvement. This position will assist in project execution, data analysis, and day-to-day administrative issues.

WHAT YOU WILL DO



  1. Support the Enterprise Applications team in working with the business lines to resolve issues with supported business applications, implement upgrades and new releases, and assist in the evaluation of proposed solutions.
  2. Contribute to the interpretation, definition and documentation of business and functional requirements; prepare document analysis and business process descriptions using cases, task and workflow analysis.
  3. Assist in partnering with customers across the organization to interpret their business needs. Ensure needs are fully translated into application and operational requirements.
  4. Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
  5. Assist in leading information gathering meetings; implement and apply business analysis methods and techniques to elicit customer needs and business requirements.
  6. Organize, specify and model requirements to ensure they are complete and unambiguous.
  7. Document the 'as-is' and 'to be' business processes relative to the specific solution alternatives.
  8. Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT).
  9. Maintain department documentation for application processes and project management.

Requirements

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU



  • Aptitude for data manipulation and analysis with the capability to translate large amounts of data into meaningful information that is consumable at an executive level.
  • Robust data management and data analytics knowledge, statistics-based modeling capability, excellent MS Office skills (particularly MS Excel).
  • Ability to apply business analysis methods/techniques.
  • Strong analytical reasoning to understand user requirements, with the demonstrated ability to transform them into application and operation functions.
  • Strong analytical and product management skills.
  • Working knowledge of the UAT life cycle.
  • Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience in assessing and identifying solution assumptions, constraints, dependencies and risks.
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service-oriented focus, with the ability to apply independent problem-solving judgment.


YOUR QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in Business related fields, MIS or Information Technology/ Management preferred; and/or equivalent work experience required.
  • 1-2 years of professional technical experience with strategy, planning, and/or business analysis is preferred, including applicable internships.


Internal and External Contacts



  • Will interact with a range of bank employees in a variety of seniority levels. Must have strong interpersonal skills for business intelligence analytics and reporting.
  • External contacts are occasional.


Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Office environment. Ability to operate a computer. Ability to communicate in order to exchange simple to complex information with individuals and groups. Ability to travel throughout Bank footprint.
