As the Sr Credit Analyst, you will capture and interpret financial information effectively and form data into meaningfuland concise analyses while considering a broad range of interdependent issues. In this role, you will identify areas forchange, make decisions based on given autonomy agreed in the standard routines and makes data driven decisions and/or recommendations about credit limit and risk category. You'll work closely with teammembers in the Center of Competence (CoC) and Business Service Center (BSC) to manage and resolveescalations related to receivables and master data. As the Sr Credit Analyst you will be responsible for reviewing and releasing credit blockorders and for supporting the Credit management team in final decisions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner across the organization to minimize risk while maximizing sales
  • Review and analyze various sources of financial and credit data; maintain credit file records andperform analyses as required
  • Review and set or propose credit limit and risk category by customer based on customerfinancial data, data risk modeling results, and other internal and external information accordingto market defined levels of authority
  • Review and release or reject sales orders blocked due to credit issues, and advance whenneeded to Credit Management
  • Evaluate parameters and relative weight affecting the calculation of credit limit and riskcategory as well as credit filters/checks and tolerance to be used by customer
  • Conduct new customer review, approval, and set-up
  • Perform in a customer centered capacity by answering credit inquiries while acting as a liaisonto sales, sales finance and the BSC team
  • Prepare and assist in the preparation of required reports for management
  • Run credit simulations as needed to identify changes in trends in account management
  • Assist in maintaining a minimum of past due accounts by working with other CoC and BSC teammembers
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities using Nestle Continuous Excellencemethodology

Requirements and Minimum Education Level:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Business.
  • 3-5 years' experience in credit, accounts receivable, accounting, or finance required; or an equivalent
  • combination of skills and experience.
  • Availability / flexibility to work holidays
  • Ability to travel approximately 5-10% of time, domestically, upon request.

Experience:

  • Experience in the CPG industry preferred
  • SAP accounts receivable system experience preferred
  • Proficiency with data dimensioning tools, pivot tables and Power BI type applications preferred

Required Skills:

  • Well-organized, methodical thinker, who is able to prioritize workload and responsibilities withexcellent decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to incorporate insightfulcommentary into customer credit risk reviews.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with a proven ability to accurately analyze/interpret data, includingcredit intake documents, customer financial statements (audited and un-audited), reportingpublished by credit risk monitoring services, etc.
  • Strong and creative problem-solving skills and results-based orientation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Work well in a team-based environment and interact collaboratively with both internal andexternal customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • As requested, supports the completion of project-based initiatives of the Company that createprocess improvements and/or functional changes to departmental processes.
  • As requested, provide guidance, coaching and training to other team members and contractors,in areas of sufficient subject matter expertise
