What You'll Be Doing
  • Operate CNC machines and maintain in appropriate working order.

  • Able to operate a minimum of one machine group with little to no guidance.

  • Perform routine machine servicing tasks such as cleaning inside machines, replacing full chip bins, replacing worn or broken tooling, and replacing oil, clearing screens, and changing high pressure filters.

  • Perform parts verifications and quality checks, and record on associated documentation/specification sheets.

  • Maintain tools and department equipment in good working order.

  • Perform cleaning/6S tasks to keep the department neat and organized.

  • Follow safety, quality, and production protocols.

What You'll Bring
  • High school diploma or GED.

  • 1-2 years' experience in CNC Machining

  • Experience working in a regulated industry is a plus.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of hand measurement tools.

  • Strong written and verbal communication.

  • Follow all safety guidelines.

  • Ability to manage and organize complex technical problems.

  • Proficiency with measurement tools including calipers, comparator, micrometers, and fixed gauges.

  • Knowledge of GMP/manufacturing environment and regulatory compliance for medical devices.

Physical Demands:

  • Be able to stand for long periods of time.

  • Must have good hand to eye coordination and dexterity.

  • Dynamic Lifting capability: Must have the ability to lift 40 pounds at a time.

  • 2nd shift: Monday - Friday 2:45pm to 11p

Work Environment:

  • Wearing safety glasses and steel toe boots at all times while on the production floor.

  • Working in close proximity to other employees.

  • Working in an environment that is temperature and humidity controlled.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated hourly rate for this position is $26.00- $32.00. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
