THE JOB:

The primary responsibility of the Racebook Cashier is to assist guests with placing wagers on horse racing and sporting events fromaround the globe. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental property policies, practices and procedures.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Write, verify, and make payments on tickets for race and sports wagers in accordance with department policy andprocedures and ensure compliance to applicable jurisdictional gaming statues and regulations

• Maintain a cash bank for his/her shift, responsible for accepting payment and making correct change when necessary

• Stock Race & Sports book Writer/Cashier's stations with adequate supplies; keep all stations neat and clean

• Make payments on winning tickets in an accurate and timely manner; verify tickets and payoffs

• Maintain and reconcile bank for assigned shift, following established cash-handling policies and procedures

• Explain wagering rules, including betting lines and odds, and procedures to guests

• Create and enter player tracking cards

• Ensure the protection of customer's rewards and adherence to credit lines

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent educational certification

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

• Describes themselves as detail-oriented

• Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression

• Can handle multiple tasks at one time
