Abrigo is seeking a Senior Contract Specialist for our growing software business. We're looking for someone who can work collaboratively in a collegial team environment to connect the contract dots between the Sales & Finance teams. The Senior Contract Specialist will assist the Manager of Contract Administration with drafting and reviewing standard business contracts such as NDAs, Master Sales Agreements, Amendments, Consulting Agreements. This position will report to the Director of Legal Operations and will have significant interaction with internal and external facing business partners, including a geographically distributed sales team. Looking for a motivated individual who can assist our growing company with the formal development of systems and processes. This position will be Remote or at our office in Raleigh, NC, Austin, TX.

What You'll Do:

  • Act as liaison between Sales, Implementation, Finance and other departments with respect to contract terms and conditions
  • Oversee legal inbox by answering questions, signature vetting, and processing documents for signatures
  • Assist in the drafting, maintaining and updating of all contract templates
  • Draft initial redline comments for customer/vendor agreements
  • Draft amendments and modify order form language
  • Create and maintain weekly metrics for pending, negotiating and executing agreements
  • Work closely with sales team to provide guidance and assistance
  • Maintain organized system of digital records
  • Create language standards for existing and new contracts
  • Participate in internal and external customer calls
  • Ensure that employees understand and comply with company contracts
  • Continuous process improvements to streamline and optimize the contracts lifecycle management process
  • Review contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance and answer internal and external customer questions
  • Complete administrative tasks to support the legal and sales teams
  • Assist Contracts Manager and Director of Legal Operations with tasks as requested
  • Participate in other projects as required

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 2-3+ years of progressive work experience with increased responsibility, preferably within a technology company; additional qualifications in law are a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Independent person who is able to spot red flags and deal with them professionally & efficiently
  • Self-starter who does not need or expect a lot of infrastructure and is able to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service (internal and external) and interpersonal skills to facilitate successful interaction with management, staff and third parties
  • High level of motivation and desire to learn & teach
  • Flexible, collaborative and willing to work on a broad variety of matters with a team-player attitude
  • Team oriented and enjoys working closely with other employees to achieve results
  • Exceptional time management skills; prioritization in managing multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce required
  • SaaS experience highly preferred
