Are you ready to put your electrical engineering knowledge to work in a fast-paced environment? Staffmark is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician for Toshiba America, Inc. in Houston, TX. In this role, you'll be responsible for testing, inspecting, analyzing data, and maintaining records to ensure the highest quality standards. If you have an associate's degree in electrical engineering, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, this long-term opportunity could be the perfect spark for your career!

Pay: $20-$24 per hour (Based on experience)

1st Shift Hours: 6 AM - 3:30 PM + overtime as needed

Quality Assurance Technician Responsibilities:



  • Perform production line testing, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure product quality and functionality.
  • Conduct visual inspections on all units before testing (pre-power inspection).
  • Execute third-party certification testing for new products or modifications of existing ones.
  • Carry out modifications and validation testing on new products and parts.
  • Generate detailed reports documenting testing results and findings.

Qualifications:



  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or 2 years of military experience in a related field.
  • Experience in testing, commissioning, or repairing industrial electronics, control gear, or switchgear.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings (both electrical and mechanical).
  • Strong knowledge of AC and DC voltages and ability to work safely with electrical components.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with hand-held power tools, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, power supplies, waveform generators, and data loggers.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stay active throughout shifts, stand for extended periods, frequently bend/squat, and lift up to 50 lbs.
