Lead Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Leader with 12 to 15 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in React JS TypeScript and Contentful along with domain experience in Medicare & Medicaid Claims Claims and Payer. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required. The Architect will play a crucial role in designing and implementing solutions that align with our business objectives and enhance our service delivery.

Location: Phoenix, AZ, USA (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

* Lead the design and development of scalable and maintainable applications using React JS and TypeScript.

* Oversee the integration of Contentful as a content management system within our applications.

* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team to ensure best practices are followed.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business goals.

* Develop and maintain technical documentation to support the development and deployment processes.

* Ensure the security and performance of applications by conducting regular code reviews and performance tuning.

* Implement and enforce coding standards and development processes to maintain code quality.

* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions.

* Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall technical strategy of the organization.

* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure the smooth operation of applications.

* Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical solutions that meet their requirements.

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations particularly in the Medicare & Medicaid Claims domain.

Qualifications:

* Between 12 to 15 years of experience

* Possess strong expertise in React JS TypeScript and Contentful with a proven track record of successful projects.

* Have extensive experience in Python (experience with serverless and Flask frameworks a plus)

* Experience with AWS serverless architecture

* Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

* Skilled in support tasks such as troubleshooting, bug fixes, and utilizing/maintaining monitoring tools (Datadog preferred).

* Have a solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

* Possess a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 3/24//2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $81,000 - $141,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
