Exciting Opportunity for a Title Specialist! Position: Title Specialist Type: Full-Time Are you detail-oriented and passionate about property records and legal documents? Key Responsibilities: * Conduct thorough courthouse searches at Register of Deeds and Treasurer offices to obtain property records and legal documents. * Provide excellent customer service by answering phone calls and addressing inquiries related to file progression and title products. * Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders. * Prepare mailings and process new orders received. * Perform scanning and digital recordkeeping tasks to maintain organized and secure files. * Verify and examine titles to ensure accuracy and compliance. * Ensure legal descriptions, marital status, and notary accuracy are correct and match records. * Ensure titles are free from restrictions or encumbrances that may hinder sales or usage. * Finalize title insurance policies for both commercial and residential real estate transactions.
