Test Engineer (Multiple Positions)

Job Description Summary:

Test and validate Connected services features. Lead responsible to manage Defects in ALM/HP QC. Organize triage calls with OEM and Suppliers. Lead and collaborate with a cross-functional team for adequate detailing for test efforts estimation and create execution plans for scoping for OTA and connectivity testing. Defect review board (DRB) with suppliers to resolve defects and coordinate in defect reproduction and log support. Technical design reviews to ensure the project is delivering per Program and architecture. Provide Subject matter expertise support in developing Automation frameworks. API Testing and using Raspberry Pi is value added. Develop test cases, Test plan, Design Test Strategy, Test Execution and Test deliverables in order to assess the functional and non-functional quality and reliability of a component and/or a system for Global connected services, IOT, OTA, on Trucks for E2E Testing, Regression and System Acceptance test. Onsite and offshore coordination, assign and gather efforts. Ensure teams work in the same structure/architecture definition and attributes with teams across global locations. Lead, coach, and mentor a team of V&V engineers to build, sustain and grow test capabilities. CAN Bus Communication, monitor CAN Traffic and Understand CAN Node acknowledgements and Diagnostic messages priority. Set up labs, test benches, Testing practice, Governance and artifacts. Drive Requirements driven testing (100% Traceability Requirements, Development, Test and Defect). Continually track for plan and Actual for assigned projects in terms of scope (plan/actual), Quality of output and course correction with a high level of collaboration with project stakeholders. E2E Validation, SIT, System Acceptance test, Regression testing and support coordination. Troubleshoot infrastructure and application problems. Reports to company headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. Roving employee - will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronic or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. In lieu of a Master's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronic or related field of study and two (2) years of experience, the employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronic or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must have demonstrated experience with: Designing, developing, and reviewing technical flows, project specification, flow charts or other system documentations; Automotive Protocols such as CAN, J1939, UDS or multiplex communication systems; Networking protocols such as SSH, MQTT, Linux, Android OS or OBD tools for ECU flashing; and Vector CANoe, CAN Communication, Ethernet, J1939, Networking protocol SSL or MQTT.

Salary offered for the position is: $121,076.80 - $126,880.00/year.

Roving employee - will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time.
