SUMMARY:

Project Managers manages large-scale initiatives from discovery and design to technical development and implementation. Extensive experience in a client-facing project management or program management role on large-scale digital engagements is critical.

The Project Manager must be adept at understanding and managing client needs and expectations as well as providing strategic leadership for a multi-discipline team. Business savvy and strategic vision must be paired with a strong understanding of implementation realities and appreciation for program and project management. The Project Manager is a solution-oriented manager who thrives on developing strong relationships between client and teams.

What you'll be doing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for developing project execution strategy and work with discipline leads and project teams to execute on plans, involving people at optimal levels to maximize utilization targets
  • Manage profitability of assigned client projects by developing and negotiating statements of work, ensuring work is delivered on budget, and invoicing clients according to the proper terms
  • Consistently identify needs client may not recognize and ensure that approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs
  • Experience managing Cloud Enablement, Infrastructure Services and Application Modernization projects
  • Consistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on client feedback
  • Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across the account tracks for which you are responsible based on engagement strategy and work contracted
  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
  • Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
  • Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
  • Minimizes our exposure and risk on project.
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Prepares reports for management regarding the status of the project
  • Ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Work within internal PMO to develop standards, templates, and best practices
  • Assist with developing a collaboration environment to post project data
  • Resolve team conflicts as required
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written skills as well as proven ability to develop well-written documents and presentations
  • Participate in strategic development of new business
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree and at least 5-8+ years of experience in Project or Program Management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, support and understand different project teams
  • Deep understanding and awareness of product development and/or marketing platform development and experience tying project goals to business goals
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills and negotiation skills is imperative
  • Experience with the development of large-scale digital solutions and a strong understanding of associated web development technologies and third-party applications and platforms is essential
  • Mobile and social media/community experience an asset
  • Competencies in PowerPoint and other common communications tools is required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $84,574 - $155,052. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, key skills, and geographic location.

Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
