What we offer:

* Salary: $23.00 - $25.00

* PTO is offered for part-time employees.

Job Functions: According to the mission and vision of Metropolitan Ministries, provides dynamic and responsive technical support and customer service for Effinity Training program. Provides internal and external support for various facets of Effinity, including inventory, reporting, and virtual hosting.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage the user base and learning content for Virtual Uplift U in the online platform and assist with the transition to a new platform as needed
  • Assist staff with pulling necessary data and reports from the Virtual Uplift U platform
  • Assist with virtualizing content, implementing tools to create online courses, and making VUU fully accessible, engaging and interactive
  • Assist with the curriculum design and technical support for Train the Trainer programs
  • Assist with virtual and in-person needs for Effinity Training and Metro Immersion
  • Demonstrate flexibility in work schedule to ensure that program needs are being met, including occasional evening and weekend availability and possible occasional travel
  • Support the holiday tent operations and MM events as needed.
  • Supports the team in other tasks as assigned.
  • Meet personal goals and actively contribute to the achievement of the team and organizational targets/goals as measured by Key Performance Indicators and in the annual plan.
Requirements

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree with experience in presentations and training required and/or equivalent experience. Experience with Instructional Design and e-Learning Instruction preferred. Must be knowledgeable in trauma informed care and homeless issues.

Skills Requirements:

Must be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team framework; strong interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communications skills; dependability; demonstrates maturity and sensitivity to cultural and individual differences in clients served; ability to handle job related matters in a professional, diplomatic, and confidential manner; willing to work with minimal supervision, yet be able to accept direction; well organized and detail oriented.

Physical Requirements:

Hearing and speaking ability, which allows for effective oral communication; physical and emotional stamina to effectively handle job related issues and stress. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.

Other:

Must demonstrate legal authorization to work in the United States. Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Must pass applicable pre-employment background screening procedures.
