Sr. Patient Engagement & Recruitment Lead (Sponsor-Based/Remote)

Are you passionate about making a difference in clinical trials and patient recruitment? As the Sr. Patient Engagement & Recruitment Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and executing cutting-edge recruitment strategies, driving success across global clinical trials. You'll lead efforts that ensure patients are at the heart of every trial while optimizing enrollment processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:



  • Lead the Charge: Develop and execute innovative global Patient Recruitment and Retention strategies across assigned protocols, ensuring efficient and timely study enrollment.
  • Create Impactful Strategies: Formulate and implement cost-effective, data-driven recruitment plans, using patient insights and metrics to maximize efficiency.
  • Collaborate for Success: Partner closely with the feasibility team, leveraging key insights for smarter recruitment planning and execution.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Communicate patient recruitment strategies, deliverables, and timelines to internal teams and senior leadership, ensuring alignment and support.
  • Own Execution: Take full responsibility for the seamless, high-quality execution of global patient recruitment strategies across regions.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee recruitment-related vendor activities, ensuring their performance is on scope, on time, and on budget.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with key internal stakeholders to align on recruitment activities, timelines, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Measure Success: Track and evaluate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates to stakeholders on recruitment and retention strategy impact.
  • Innovate and Improve: Lead process improvement efforts within the Patient Recruitment team, continuously enhancing our approach and performance.
  • Mentor and Guide: Provide day-to-day oversight and guidance to junior team members, fostering growth and development within the team.
  • Represent the Team: Attend and present at Investigator and Site Engagement meetings, offering insights and leadership.
  • Evaluate and Adjust Strategy: Work closely with senior leadership to assess tactical performance, adjust strategies, and solve any recruitment challenges.

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

Qualifications & Education Requirements:



  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in patient recruitment and retention for clinical trials.
  • Clinical Expertise: Strong understanding of ICH/GCP guidelines and the clinical drug development process.
  • Enrollment Mastery: Proven success managing complex recruitment scenarios and third-party service providers within drug development.


Preferred Skills:



  • Risk Management: Advanced ability to assess and manage recruitment-related risks.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate complex challenges.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for presenting, collaborating, and reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Global Experience: Exposure to working in global clinical trials is highly desirable.
  • Recruitment Effectiveness: Ability to analyze and measure the success of recruitment activities.
  • Rare Disease Expertise: Experience in rare disease patient recruitment is a big plus!
