The Used Fuel Management (UFM) Department has recently re-established INL's focus and technical leadership in the area of used fuel management and disposition and is dedicated to providing government and industry with comprehensive and innovative solutions to the challenges of used nuclear fuel management. Department researchers are leading a portfolio of projects focused on the storage, transport, and disposal of used nuclear fuel and high-level waste arising from both commercial and non-commercial nuclear reactors, including advanced reactors. The UFM Department is searching for a Spent Fuel Analystto provide impactful spent fuel management solutions in the areas of systems analysis and tool development, advanced reactor spent fuel planning, spent fuel package development and integration, and legacy spent fuel management alternative analysis, including policy and facility siting impacts.
