Job Description

Bringing a sharp focus to the intersection of technology and legal strategy, this Strategic and solutions-focused eDiscovery Senior Consultant offers deep expertise in managing high-volume, complex litigation matters. Skilled in leveraging advanced eDiscovery technologies, data analytics, and legal workflows to support in-house counsel across diverse practice areas. A trusted advisor and collaborative partner, driving innovation, efficiency, and legal excellence in the discovery process Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end management of high-volume, complex discovery projects, including data collection, processing, review, and production of electronically stored information (ESI).
  • Advise litigation defense teams on discovery strategy by applying deep knowledge of eDiscovery workflows and legal nuances.
  • Collaborate across Corporate Legal, Product Liability, Medical Malpractice, Employment Law, and Insurance litigation teams.
  • Employ cutting-edge eDiscovery tools such as predictive coding, early case assessment, and advanced analytics to optimize review efficiency and case outcomes.
  • Draft and negotiate ESI protocols and related discovery documents.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve internal processes for ESI management, driving efficiency and ensuring compliance.
  • Deliver training and guidance on legal hold procedures, data collection, and review best practices, including use of Relativity and litigation technologies.
  • Serve as liaison among internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, legal teams, paralegals, records management) and external legal counsel.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, promoting skills development and workflow optimization.
  • Lead innovation initiatives by revising current procedures and introducing process improvements in eDiscovery.
  • Oversee project timelines and manage stakeholder expectations across all stages of case progression.
  • Build, maintain, and analyze document datasets using state-of-the-art review platforms and project management tools.
  • Present data insights and trends to legal teams using advanced analytics and visualizations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the E-Discovery Technology Manager or Project Teams Manager.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred )
  • Juris Doctor (a plus)
Certifications
  • Relativity Certified Administrator (preferred)
  • Relativity Analytics or Assisted Review Specialist (preferred)
Experience
  • 5+ years in eDiscovery project management or litigation technology roles (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Purview.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supervising junior team members and overseeing work quality.
Education & Experience (in lieu)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $85,600.00 - 152,650.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
