HX5 is currently seeking a Configuration and Data Manager to support the Mobility Directorate for transport, training, and tanker aircraft at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This person will apply knowledge of the fundamentals of configuration management to establish and maintain consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life. Responsibilities include:
  • Receipt, dissemination, processing, tracking, and final disposition of all configuration changed documentation such as ECPs and CCPs
  • Assist in the preparation and conduct of Configuration Control Boards (CCB) and business management boards
  • Assist in the development and management of all CDRL requirements.
  • Plan and conduct audits (FCAs/PCAs) and confirm the adequacy of data used for these audits.
  • Review and evaluate OEM proposals and reports for configuration status accounting of assigned systems/subsystem(s) and compliance with Government technical data requirements.
  • Provide support to the DR function operation of the Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS) or similar system

Education and Experience:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:

  • High School or GED with ten (10) years of relevant experience and five (5) years of DoD experience.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:

  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Must be able to travel, including air travel.
