The Global Event Experience & Marketing Manager will lead the planning, promotion, and execution of high-impact events worldwide. This role goes far beyond logistics-it's about using events as a powerful marketing channel to drive engagement, elevate brand presence, and support pipeline and revenue goals. You'll play a key role in influencing pipeline, accelerating sales cycles, and amplifying our brand in the market.

You'll be a strategic partner and hands-on executor who understands how to turn events into immersive brand experiences that deliver measurable results. This includes marquee tradeshows, customer and partner events, industry conferences, and internal activations that reinforce Flexera's leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Event Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute strategic event marketing plans that align with Flexera's overall brand, campaign themes, and demand generation strategies.

  • Partner with the global campaigns, field marketing and partner marketing teams to ensure event-sourced leads are funneled into targeted nurture tracks, with clear tracking on opportunity creation, win rates, and deal velocity impact.

  • Partner with the social media team to integrate promotional and engagement strategies into event plans-before, during, and after events-to extend reach, amplify messaging, and enhance brand visibility.
Own end-to-end planning and delivery of global corporate, industry, and partner events.

  • Manage budgets, timelines, contracts, and logistics with precision.

  • Create scalable processes and toolkits ("event-in-a-box") to empower field and partner teams while ensuring brand consistency.

Event Design & Innovation

  • Elevate event experiences through creative, customer-centric design-integrating digital, interactive, and AI-driven solutions.

  • Continuously explore event trends and technologies (e.g., self-service scheduling tools, immersive content formats) to push innovation.

  • Collaborate with digital, content, and growth marketing teams to build high-impact, conversion-driven experiences.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, helping them maximize the value of events as a strategic marketing lever.

  • Align event messaging and design with business priorities across product, sales, marketing, and leadership.

  • Build and manage a global network of top-tier vendors, agencies, and swag partners.

Performance & ROI Measurement

  • Define clear goals, success metrics, and KPIs for every event.

  • Track performance and impact on pipeline and brand engagement.

  • Deliver post-event reporting and insights to inform ongoing strategy.

  • Ensure every event has a strong pre/during/post plan to optimize reach, follow-up, and lead nurture.

Optimizing experiences and productivity with AI

  • Use AI tools to research and optimize audience experiences from promotion to registration to post-event follow-up, increasing engagement and conversion.

  • Use generative AI to streamline content creation (e.g., agendas, emails, social copy) and accelerate campaign timelines.

  • Apply AI-driven analytics to evaluate attendee behavior, optimize event design, and measure ROI with greater accuracy.

  • Experiment with AI-powered tools, such as chatbots and virtual assistants to improve attendee support and experience during hybrid and virtual events.

  • Utilize AI-powered scheduling tools to streamline onsite meetings between attendees, sales teams, and partners-maximizing face-to-face engagement and pipeline impact.

  • Bring recommendations to the table for ways to enhance productivity and experiences using AI

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in event marketing and experience management, ideally in B2B tech or SaaS.

  • Proven success in creating events that deliver brand impact and measurable business outcomes.

  • Deep understanding of marketing funnel dynamics, campaign integration, and audience engagement.

  • Strong project management and communication skills across cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.

  • Experience with event platforms, AI tools, CRM and marketing automation systems.

  • Comfortable with global event execution and travel.
