At TEKsystems we are working with a local university seeking an experienced Ellucian Banner Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support its transition from Banner 8 to Banner 9. This is a critical role on a small, focused project team, where your expertise will directly impact the success of the upgrade. The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of the Ellucian Banner ERP system, particularly in the Scheduling, Admissions, and Registrar modules. Note: Financial Aid module experience is not applicable. Key Responsibilities: * Provide subject matter expertise for the Banner 8 to 9 upgrade, ensuring a smooth transition. * Collaborate with university stakeholders and the project team to assess current configurations and recommend improvements. * Assist in testing, validation, and troubleshooting of the Scheduling, Admissions, and Registrar modules. * Support data migration, integration, and reporting efforts as needed. * Document processes, configurations, and training materials. * Participate in regular project meetings and provide status updates. Required Qualifications: * Proven experience with Ellucian Banner ERP, specifically versions 8 and 9. * Strong functional knowledge of Scheduling, Admissions, and Registrar modules. * Experience with Banner upgrade projects in a higher education environment. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Ability to work independently in a remote setting. Preferred Qualifications: * Familiarity with related systems and tools (e.g., Degree Works, Argos, or other reporting tools). * Experience working with cross-functional teams in higher education. Contract Details: * Duration: 6 months * Location: Fully remote * Sub-Vendor Talent not accepted Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
