Overview:

Sentara Health is currently seeking a full-time remote Paid Media Performance Specialist.

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Position Location: Hybrid in Virginia Beach, VA (hybrid schedule to be determined)

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM

Overview

The Paid Media Performance Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate measurement, dashboard reporting, and performance analysis of digital advertising efforts. This role partners with the internal stakeholders to align media campaign tracking, performance KPIs, and ROI communication. While creative testing is driven by the agency, this position ensures campaign metrics are accurately captured, reported, and communicated to optimize spend and outcomes across channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Measurement & Reporting: Monitor paid media metrics (CTR, CPC, conversion rate, ROAS) across platforms; validate dashboard data in partnership with MarTech and escalate discrepancies as needed.

  • Campaign ROI Analysis: Help define and track ROI for paid media initiatives, flagging issues or opportunities to improve performance.

  • Dashboard & Data Stewardship: Serve as the internal point person for dashboard accuracy; ensure campaign data reflects correct budgets, goals, and results.

  • Vendor & AOR Coordination: Translate campaign goals and measurement needs to the agency (TN); ensure reports include relevant KPIs and align with business priorities.

  • Paid Media Channel Knowledge: Maintain a working understanding of paid social, SEM, display, and retargeting channels to facilitate accurate tracking and reporting.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Campaign, Creative, and Strategy teams to ensure tracking plans are in place for new campaigns, including tagging and UTM structures.

  • Budget Tracking: Monitor paid media spend against plan and support budget reconciliations with AOR and internal finance.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with media KPIs

  • Familiarity with dashboards and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Google Data Studio)

  • Working knowledge of digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, DV360)

  • Experience partnering with media agencies or analytics teams

  • Ability to translate performance data into insights for non-technical audiences

Education
  • Bachelor's degree (4 years of experience in lieu of education)

Certification/Licensure
  • No specific certification or licensure requirements

Experience
  • 3 years related experience in digital marketing, marketing, public relations, and IT
