This is a Full-Time position (80 hours per pay period) with a Monday - Friday schedule located at our Scripps Whittier Diabetes Institute in La Jolla. Join a winning team at our Scripps Whittier Diabetes Institute in La Jolla supporting the Diabetes Clinical Services department as a Patient Service Specialist. Working together, you'll bring your expertise, compassion, and excellence to all we do. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical setting, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy providing world class customer service. The primary duties of this role include processing of referrals, scheduling patients, assisting with front desk check in and check out and multi-line phone answering, reviewing the Diabetes program with patients for recruitment to diabetes classes, and back-office work involving the review of progress notes for follow-up visits.
