Summary:

The Manager, Contract Data Analytics & Operations is responsible for leading the development and execution of data-driven strategies that support Pacira's commercial contracting operations. The Manager, Contract Data Analytics & Operations is responsible for supporting data management and analytics across the Commercial function, including, but not limited to, managing the operational data model for Commercial contracting, providing analytics and technical support for effective contract performance management, reporting and measurement of pull through, as well as implementing processes to efficiently manage the different data assets necessary to operationalize a best-in-class Commercial contracting program. This role plays a critical role between Commercial Data Management & Analytics, Trade Operations, Finance, and Strategic Accounts. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in contract analytics, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy and transparency of contract-related data, supporting chargeback reconciliation, and delivering actionable insights to optimize contract performance. Ability to synthesize complex data and drive operational excellence will be key to supporting strategic decisions across Commercial, Finance, and Trade Operations.


Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversees contract data quality and chargeback reconciliation.
  • Supports contract performance reporting and pull-through analytics.
  • Acts as a liaison between Commercial, Finance, Trade, and Strategic Accounts.
  • Implements process improvements and automation to streamline operations.
  • Works cross-functionally within Commercial Analytics and with Commercial Operations, Strategic Accounts, and Finance to ensure reporting integrity and transparency related to the customer and distributor activity and performance.
  • Provides contract analytics technical support for the implementation of best-in-class solutions for effective contract reporting insights and delivering actionable operational pull through.
  • Develops, monitors, and maintains data quality related to all customer contracts, including government (340B, FSS), commercial (individual sites, GPOs), and others as needed to ensure business data are met.
  • Oversees contract data quality, roster eligibility and chargeback processing compliance including reviewing roster variances to ensure alignment and proper classification between GPO rosters and submitted chargebacks
  • Maintain a master calendar of key deliverables, ensuring timely execution of recurring reports, such as GPO administrative fees, including coordination of review and approval processes
  • Maintains membership mappings and rosters between internal customer master and contract rosters.
  • Maintains a system and/or process mapping 340B-related chargebacks to source sales data and commercial contracts.
  • Identifies chargeback errors and supports internal Finance and Trade teams to communicate and resolve issues with trading partners in a timely manner and participate in trading partner meetings to assist with resolving reconciling variances
  • Proactively monitors and identifies issues on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and provides expertise on reconciling variances with Trading partners.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert on transactional, GPO roster management, chargeback, and supplementary data sources.
  • Maintains detailed, organized histories and analysis to document chargeback, pricing, and other relevant customer-related issues and tracks/leads resolution by working directly with internal business partners (Finance, Trade and National Accounts) to clear any identified issues.
  • Synthesizes moderate volumes of data across multiple systems and provides succinct explanations and analysis that can be shared with internal and external partners.
  • Supports accrual reconciliation and ad-hoc analyses.
  • Identifies and supports implementation of best practices, processes, automation, and tools to ensure effective workflow of contract data analytics and reporting.

Interaction:

This role collaborates extensively across Commercial Analytics, Strategic Accounts, Finance, Trade Operations, and Commercial Operations to ensure alignment on data strategy, contract performance insights, and operational workflows. The Manager serves as a key liaison, facilitating cross-functional communication and driving data transparency and integrity across internal teams and external partners.


Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field from an accredited college or university; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare-related industries, with a focus in areas such as finance operations, business analytics, pricing and contracting, or trade and sales operations.
  • Experience working with large datasets, contract performance metrics, and pharmaceutical data standards (e.g., 340B, EDI, HIBBC, DEA, NPI) is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate complex data into actionable business insights.

  • Proficient in working with transactional, sales, and financial data to support contract analytics and performance tracking.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical data standards and customer data management principles, including familiarity with 340B Drug Pricing Program, HRSA, and related compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical supply chain data assets such as direct ship sales, EDI 867/850/844, and industry-standard identifiers (e.g., HIBBC, DEA, NPI).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven success in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement across Commercial, Finance, and Trade functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data discrepancies.
  • Prior experience in contract analytics or administration is highly desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization or BI tools is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and travel as needed.

Pay Transparency

The base pay range for this role is $113,000 per year to $155,000 per year. The range is what we reasonably expect to pay for this role. The range considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: geographic markets, business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications.
