Our client is a privately owned full service security integration company founded and operating in the Pittsburgh area that's been in business nearly 40 years seeking an experienced Field Technician with proven experience and knowledge of low voltage, CCTV, access controls, intrusion, and security systems. Job Duties: * Diagnose, repair, and maintain various automated gate systems, including slide gates, spike systems, barrier arms, and hydraulic/automated traffic barriers. * Perform routine preventative maintenance on gate systems to ensure long-term reliability and optimal performance. * Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to effectively troubleshoot and repair systems. * Respond to service calls in a timely manner and provide clear documentation of all work performed. * Work closely with customers, property managers, and site contacts to ensure minimal disruption during service. * Install new traffic control equipment as needed and ensure compliance with manufacturer and safety standards. * Maintain a safe, organized work area and adhere to all company and OSHA safety guidelines. * Travel to various job sites on a weekly basis, sometimes requiring overnight stays Additional Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience servicing traffic control gate systems. * Proficient with systems and equipment from Magnetic Automation, DKS (Doorking), Delta Scientific, and similar manufacturers. * Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. * Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform work in various outdoor conditions. Preferred Qualifications + Additional Information: * Certifications in low-voltage electrical systems or manufacturer-specific training. * Experience with access control integration or networking equipment. * OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus. * W-2 Contract to Hire * Individual must be able to pass all required pre-onboarding required compliance * Compensation/Salary based upon previous pay/industry experience Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
