As a Security Guard - Utilities Desk Driving Role in New Albany, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Front Desk professional with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a welcoming and secure environment for visitors and staff. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing access control, and assisting with security-related inquiries while providing outstanding customer service. This post requires driving as part of your duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a utilities location.
• Assist with visitor management, including verifying identification and facilitating access according to site protocols.
• Monitor the front desk area to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Maintain daily activity reports and document any security-related incidents or unusual occurrences.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding site matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
